Welcome to Band Wagon - Ceilidh Band

The Band is based in Lancashire and perform throughout the North West, playing music for Ceilidhs and Folk Dances.

As well as our Ceilidh and Folk Dances our engagements include Family Get-Togethers, Weddings, Birthday Parties and general Celebrations where an informal  dancing Event  can produce fun & enjoyment for all ages.

Bandwagon is made up of experienced musicians from the world of Folk and Morris Dancing, all having  interest in  Traditional English  music.

There are a wide range of instruments played by the Band including Accordian, Fiddles, Mandolin, Melodeon, Drums and Piano, and always produce a lively and danceable sound.

The music provided is primarily Traditional Folk Tunes with an occasional variation, adding to the general interest and enjoyment.

The Grand New year Ceilidh at Mawdesley Village Hall went very well despite the threat of possible cancellation due to the terrible weather. The Event was enjoyed by all - requests for a 2011 were voiced.

It was decided by the Band that all profits generated on the Night would be donated to the Haiti Earthquake Appeal - this has now been done. We all felt that this was an exceptional situation which deserved our support.
